Keep your family well this winter by accessing funded products and professional advice through the government's Minor Ailments Scheme.

JMCP can consult on Te Whatu Ora's official list of minor health conditions and supply funded medicines and treatment aids if clinically indicated.

If you are eligible for funding, this service is free. If you are not eligible, the cost of this service is $20.00 plus any medication. Book online in advance to secure your appointment, then pay in-store at your appointment. We do offer a walk-in service, however, this is subject to availability.

You may be eligible for the funded Minor Ailments Scheme if you are: 

• Of Māori or Pacific ethnicity 

• A Community Services Card (CSC) holder 

• A child aged 14 years or younger; or 

• Part of a family/household with a child under 14 years or younger and you are both experiencing these symptoms. 

Minor Ailments included in this service are:

• Pain and fever
• Diarrhoea, vomiting and dehydration
• Eye inflammation
• Scabies
• Head lice (nits)
• Minor skin infections
• Ezcema and dermatitis
• Bacterial eye infections (conjunctivitis)
